i personally like nvidia. that's what i have in all of my computers. my dad's computer has ATI, but i've never really used it before.

I kinda like ati because of its native crossfire technology- I believe its been around longer than nVidia's SLI.
nVidia cards are also quite a bit more expensive.

The 3870X2 really owns though, I think it even outperforms the nVidia's 9800GX2 in some ways.

we use nvidia in here, best for gaming and very fast pixel appearance..

nVidia, simply because they are better on linux, and they play my games better than ATI. Although they ARE far from perfect.

nVIDIA because I have never used ATI and do not know what the difference is.
