Did social bookmarks work for you?

Just wondering if social bookmarking sites worked for you and brought in a decent amount of traffic. It doesn't really work for all of us, but it sometimes does if you have a lot of friends that use those sites for fun.

Social bookmarking is great place on which you can promote your site and your blog. It is a way to increase traffic for a site/. It is effective if you submit a link with unique title and content. Based on my experience, social bookmarking can bring traffic for a site but just a temporary.

The best is to get listed on a popular site. Like a ad on facebook or youtube. that can really boost your traffic.

Well cavedog you're right. But that's pretty expensive. Not all of us can do that. If I had some money I could have done that. lol
