Yeah Google is making their own operating system (OS). People are saying that they will release it around 2010. I'll look into it more and let you guys know about it.

Any of you guys know anything?

this OS has been in the "Rumor" stage for years. It will probably be an opensource OS similar to Linux but completely integrated with all things google. Have standalone offine version of google docs. google talk picasa gmail client ect. all preinstalled. looking foreward to trying this but i'm not holding my breath.

All i hope is that we don't have to pay as it is almost guarenteed that they will integrate it with google serch and they may even be sneaky and put contextual google ads in things like word processors and file managers.
