Well you need to contact the people at AdSense if you see anything suspicious. I would have taken off the ads and then contacted them. They would understand and not ban you. You wouldn't get paid for those click of course, though.

Yeah the customer service is poor at times. Some guys just have their heads way up their asses. Depends if you get reviewed by someone nice or an ass.

$325 but I've since made that back doing real work for money.

Pretty substantial sum of money for online work! I would have fought them all the way on principal alone

$325 is a lot for online work. If you are not fussed then just leave it if your time is not worth it.

If it takes you 10 hours of your time to get that $325 back but in that time you could otherwise make $500 leave it.
