Go to http://www.google.com/addurl/ and enter the details. This will tell Google that your site exists and you want them to index it. But they won't index it right away. They will put your site on the "to-crawl" list and it should appear within a few days.

You can also add your site on other search engines as well such as Yahoo.com, Altavista.com, Dogpile.com etc
